Looking for someone to talk to in New York State in the Hudson Valley near Montgomery NY that does lift kits for a 2015 Tacoma. I never had one done before and was looking to talk to someone about getting a 3 inch lift done. Right now just doing my homework and have some questions.

    Thanks for your help.

If you get a basic spacer lift kit that 90% of the trucks you see on the road have they are VERY easy to do yourself. Definitely check out a video on youtube. Its the same for any tacoma 05-15. And almost exactly the same for any other year tacoma.

Bilstein 5100 with OME 887 springs, Light Racing UCA for fronts, full Dakar leaf pack with 5100 in rear will give you 3” lift. Very affordable.

757yotas you are right. I been looking at the videos online and it does not look that hard but i am no mechanic. I am will to try anything but i just dont have the tools that a mechanic has to make sure i do it right. Thats one of my problems...

Depending on what you plan to do with your Tacoma also a spacer lift is not good for off roading . Go with a Bilstein lift or something similar . Wheelers Offroad.com or Headstrong.com

Get a basic ratchet set at walmart and some pliers, pretty much all you will need!

I just went through the same process, installed it myself. I’m mechanically inclined and it took me a while. Folks from outside the Northeast forget to factor in the salt rust we get here, so sway bar links and other various stuck or broken bolts slowed me down. Do whoever does the lift a favor and start spraying every bolt you see in the video with PB Blaster or similar now. As you crawl under there to do that you’ll get a better sense of what you might be in for. I’m in the ADKs today but could discuss later.
