Tachometer appears to show what gear I am in, as opposed to what my current RPM

I’d still prefer to have the correct RPM. This seems like more of a problem than a feature or mod.

 

It's winter. I was a bit hyped for it too.

I don't think this is actually possible. Unless wires were purposely crossed, and i cant imagine this was 10min thought process either. If it's honestly a freak thing I'd be surprised.

so if the truck is in 5th gear your tach is up at 5K but obviously the engine isn't. That is the weirdest damned thing....

Could be. Last seen 4:06 Friday, had promised video after he got out of school.

My fingers are numb from tapping (post 21) so I'll be leaving now.

Sometimes what looks to have promise as a 'here's something different' conversation (as opposed to level lifts, plasti dip, LEDs, what tires, wheels and oil brand/OCI) just turns out to be a flop.
