    Very Sleek!

What’d you use to blackout the badging?

    How does your tailgate look?

Congrats on the pro! You’ll love it even more, as you spend more time it!

What kind of steps are those? They look really good on your truck.

Thanks and yes on the nox lux. Love the way they look on the black. I need to get her lifted. That’s the next venture.

    You’re welcome.

    They look great!

It all looks great as is!

Maybe lift only 2-3 inches, or you’ll need bigger tires.

I’ve been contemplating ordering the Nox Lux overlays.
I saw them up close on some Tacomas and Tundras at my dealership last weekend.

I know guys complain that they are not worth $100, but I think they look great and match the rest of the matte black trim very well.

I removed my chrome V6 emblem to try the “remove, strip, prime, paint and reapply” method.

    I can tell you this:

For the time and effort I spent: Heating and flossing them off... removing the adhesive from the tailgate... cleaning and polishing that area... removing the funk from the back of the emblem... having to buy bleach and wet sanding paper... soaking the emblem in bleach for the last 2 days... dumping and replenishing the bleach thrice per day...

Only about half of the chrome is gone.

Still have another day or so of bleaching, before cleaning and sanding and prepping...

Then I’ll need to buy a good quality primer, paint and matte top coat, 3M tape (which will have to be adhered and trimmed real well), wait for the weather to warm up to do the painting...

AND that’s only the first of FIVE emblems!!!

It’ll take weeks to do all of this for 4 more emblems!

I think it’s already worth $100 for already prepped, easy to apply, sleek-looking Toyota-approved overlays.

They’d probably be arriving tomorrow, if I would have ordered them before removing the V6 badge!

    You know?!

Agree with you. Just a 2-3unch lift is all I’m looking at. And even that I’ll prolly wait on for a bit. I do like how she sits right now.

Dude it’s worth every penny. I had the dealer just build the nox lux into my price. That and the grille, steps, tires, and wheels. Took a week for them to get the parts but so worth the wait. Had I tried to do it all individually, I never would have got it done. My kids keep me too busy lol
