20 dollar aux cord install for 2nd gen models without factory aux inputs

    Before anyone throws shade I wanna apologize in advance if this fix has already been addressed. Anyways... I was poking around on the cheap mods thread and came across a way to add an aux cord to the stock stereo systems on 2nd gen models that didn’t include one. That required soldering and I’m not very good at that, I’m sure I’m not the only one. Anyways there’s this kit online that taps into a secondary CD port on the back of the head unit. Only problem was these guys wanted around 100 bucks for it. Anyways I found another kit just like it made by some company I can’t pronouce. Decided to take a chance and see if it would work and it did! So if your looking to get rid of an FM transmitter and get some better sound quality this way is rather cheap and does work. I’ll upload a pic of it below.
