I’m looking at adding a suspension kit to my taco. How much taller would it end up being with a 4-6in suspension lift kit? What’s a good lift kit brand for the tacos?

Not going to get a 4-6" lift for $1,000 unless you are a prerunner.

Anything over 2.5-3" on a 4x4 and you will need UCAs (which start around $500).

Damn not looking for anything huge and you looking for a 4-6" lift. Damn my 2" lift was a huge step for me lol. Check the suspension sub forum.

A 4-6'' lift is going to make it 4-6'' taller. They don't call it that for nothing. It won't be perfectly that tall but it's very close depending on what cab configuration you have.

You will not be able to find a quality suspension lift for under $1,000 for parts.

You could get a good 3'' lift kit for around $1,500-$2,000 depending on how crazy you get on your coilovers and leaf packs.

Anything over 3'' on a suspension lift is going to cost a substantial amount of money. A 6'' lift on a 4x4 is going to cost thousands. You'll need to pay a welder to custom cut/weld the frame to drop everything.

Even a 4'' lift you are talking more than $2,000 because you are going to start needing new brake lines, Diff drops etc.

So your budget is not realistic for a suspension lift.

This is what I found and the price, is there anything that I would have to get extra that doesn’t come with this kit?
