Nice pick on the short guy. Here's a pic of me in the yard:

I had the grill out to plastidip it. 4 push pin type retainers and 4 bolt head screws if memory servs. Was too easy. although at my height I can likely just stand under it and get to the fogs.

So I am totally geekin out.

My wife and kids got me this light bar for my birthday, based on a thread here on TW:

    https://www.amazon.com/MICTUNING-Inch-180W-Combo-Light/dp/B00CLHGGVC

I installed and LOVE it - but of course I stumbled across this today and thinking I would like it better at 3x's the lumen output!

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0714LG5GJ/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I1BKTNW6BLZSG6&colid=3LPHUYE5T4JNC&psc=1

Tell me I am wrong and no one in their right mind would put 45,000 lumens in the grill!

Here are some pics. First let me say these picture really aren't that great, plus I'm no photographer. I have an iPhone X and the camera is supposed to be amazing.......not really. I will say if anyone is on the fence about these bulbs just do it! The cut off on the stock bulb housings are amazing, truly rivals that of German cars. The difference is night and day. I can see so much better now when driving down the road.
The wife and I went grocery shopping and I made her take her car so when we got into our neighborhood I could have her come down the street the opposite direction and see if they blinded her. She said she wouldn't even consider flashing me saying that they did not bother her at all even though they lit up the road in front of the Taco very well!
The peripheral lighting is leaps and bounds above stock too. Can't say enough about this MOD. Best money I've spent on lighting on any car.......ever! Looks just like it would be OEM.
I'll be screwed when it snows! I say this because the Jeep Rubicon Recon I just traded in had LED lighting from the factory. Those bulbs produce zero heat and snow quickly builds up on the headlight lenses and fogs reducing visibility to near zero. I assume this will be the case with the Taco too. Just a heads up for those who live where it snows!

Pic 1: low beam and fogs about 75 feet away from a dugout at a park around the corner from my house. The nose of the truck was aiming down a little so that's why the beam seems low. Look at that cut off! Amazing!!!

Pic 2: high beams against the same dugout, I wasn't lined up perfect so that's why it's off to the left a bit. Going down the road they are perfect.

Pic 3: head on at headlight level, bright as all Hell......lol. Picture sucks as the light doesn't jump all over like it seems to.

Pic 4: just above headlight level. Picture seems to show a tiny bit of yellow, but the lighting is truly white as can be.

Pic 5: Close up of drivers side low beam and fog. I do have to mention that I cleaned my headlight lenses and fog light lenses because they were filthy and covered with road salt as it snowed here today.

Pic 6: Best picture in my opinion. This is the berm that's at the end of the parking lot of the park. Amazing how the lows and fogs light up the area in front of this truck!

How are the low beams with no fogs, driving around with your fog lights on when there is no fog is what blinds other drivers

    Great review Dave, aka @BlazingTaco18,
I really appreciate these thoroughly detailed reviews. I'm not even close to being knowledgeable when it comes to lumens or color or any of those fancy terms so I just have to rely on my plain old eyesight. And I really like how these look! That cutoff like you say is so perfect. You can see how the beam is lower on the left than on the right. That's exactly how it's supposed to be when the bulbs are designed to work with the housing. That's so the light is not in the eyes of oncoming traffic. The total illumination of the entire area in the last pic is all the proof I need .

Thanks again to you and the wife for helping us to make a more informed decision.

    Rob

Now to just wait until they are back in stock. :angrygirl:

I mean, I would lol. But I don't know that brand at all and it does not come with wiring harness, relay, fuse..etc.

    Yes.

With no fogs the light is still amazing! The fogs pretty much illuminate the area right in front of the truck.

No problem. Glad I could help!

They do very well in the snow. The white light doesn't "bounce" back and blind you. A quick warning though, LED lighting produces very little heat. In a heavy snow I'm pretty sure our headlight lenses will quickly build up with snow killing visibility.

Hey off subject. Is anyone seeing the "blood moon" happening right now. Sets at 8:30 ET apparently in LA right now you can see it really well. (obviously cause its the west coast and still dark).

I got up at 0400 PHX time to watch the start, woke my daughter up at 0515 to watch the eclipse from half to full.

The youngest got up to see the full blood moon before it set.
