Since I’ve seen a few that have said they bought a 3rd gen an there 2 gen won’t fit I’ll say no

I don't know about the long bed, but my tonnopro which I had on my 2015 DCSB fits perfectly on my 2017 DCSB.

16 TRDOR DCSB (SOLD)

It will cover the bed but whether or not the hardware mounting points fit is another question. I think the bed rails are at different heights and I believe the bed in the 3rd gen tapers to be a tad narrower near the tailgate.
