Don't think it would be too bad to accomplish as I have the TC equivalent.

Have you ever taken off or installed LCAs, UCAs, coilovers, axles? You don't need to know how to do all of that as most of it is pretty simple with mostly one way to remove them.

Items I would do ahead of time...
    • Bust out the instructions and lay out the part for confirmation of parts needed.
    • Verify with tools that all sockets, torque bar, breaker bar, two floor jacks(makes it easier), rope to help yank out CVs with (crowbar helps here too). I would get ahold of a grease gun or quality grease at a minimum for the bushings. The brake line wrenches in 10mm will also be needed so you don't strip your lines!
    • Spray liquid wrench or preferred penetrating oil on all bolts that will be removed unless you recently broke them open, ESPECIALLY on your brake lines and the LCA cam bolts! The more the oil sits the better it works so sooner than later, also spraying a few times on them through out the remainder of the week doesn't hurt.
    • Watch youtube on UCA install, coilover install, cv axle swap if not familiar
    • Buy replacement cam bolts from the dealership or from someone who has extras. Mine was a 2012 and half of them were seized, may not be the case in socal, but sucks to find out the hard way...about $130-200 depending on your source.
    • You will need a welder and a grinder to weld on the adjustable limit strap mounts.
    • If you havnt gotten the TC cam tabs, now is a good time to install if you have the truck torn apart.
    • Spare CVs and doing the axles ahead of time can alleviate a lot of time and struggle. I had mine done with an extra set of CVs I had planned to use as my spares, but of course the threads on both of my stock cvs were warped at the ends. If I didn't have spare CVs already extended out then I would have been fucked in my install. Many don't see this issue, but would suck to learn the hard way.
    • Expect the truck to be apart for a solid 10-20 hours depending on the skill involved.
    • LT coilovers have weld on resi brackets and also must be welded on. You can get away with zip ties in the interim though if needed.
I would consider parking your ride as soon as you can on Friday and then trying to break open the bolts just to get them opened up. Don't need to wrench by yourself, but just knowing that nothing is seized is a good start. Im sure others will chime in with their thoughts.

Thank you, I can probably knock out most of this stuff in the remaining days. little less complicated as im 2wd, and have access to dealer parts at 50% off. Most all bolts have been touched fairly recently too.
