What does your lift kit manufacture suggest? My Icon 8 states in the instructuctions the wheel, offset and tire suggestions. Overall if your UCAs adjust you can try different sizes and see. My tire shop will try before you buy but not on road test.

If you off road a 16” is better than a 17”.

I really like my Firestone Destination A/Ts. Cost effective truck tire for the vast majority of toad driving. The only off roading I do is when I hunt. Its also a quiet A/T.

I wouldn't consider 17's to be an upgrade from 16's. Unless you just like the looks of a specific 17" wheel that isn't available in a 16". You can get the exact overall height and width from a 16 as a 17 and 16's are cheaper. The additional rubber between the ground and rim rides better and gives more room to air down tires off road.

How do you get to the hunt?

Mild vehicle trails and hoof it to the site, park at a lodge and 4 wheel in, etc? IE easy on the truck.

Or foray in the heavy stuff in the truck?

What's your normal % of pavement to offroad use?

There are only 2 reasons I'd switch to 17s. 1- if I was going to 35s or bigger (it's tough to find those for 16s). 2- to do the T4R big brake kit (which I'd do if going 35+).

Since you already have them, any good AT tire should suit your uses fine.
