    Hello all
I have a pair of King mid travel coilovers in my truck that have been installed for about 6 months now and had question about the the install. During the install process when I went to bolt up the lower coilover mount there was a lot of play between the lca mounting tabs. I put two large washers between there not knowing any better and tightened her up - the King's didn't come with any additional spacers or washers.

Speed ahead to today.... I was talking to a friend and he mentioned his coilovers (a different brand) had special offset spacers AKA misalignment spacers for Heim Joints.

My question is that if anyone here has had experience with King Coilovers - did your coilovers come with washers or spacers for the lower control arm mounting?

    Thanks for your time!
    Jason

    Stuff and junk and things...

All shock brands run 5/8 spherical bearings and Misalignment spacers.

You can go to King or Accutune sells some that fit all brands.

hm.. so I guess I would have to get new hardware as well since I'm still using the stock bolt. I'm shocked the set of Kings didn't come with the hardware for the LCA mounting when they were kit specific coilovers.

They should have come with the spacers but did you buy used? was there a zip tie through the rod end and spacers to keep it together during shipping? I bet they fell out in the box. Got a picture of your lower rod end as it sits now?

I bought them brand new last May as part of the group buy. I currently have two washers on either side of them to try to even the spacing between the tabs. i'll try to grab photos of the lower mounting point after work today. I need to do some cleaning down there anyways.

Also installed some kings in about the same time frame. Came from fox emulsion coilovers so im familar with the misalignment spacer but my kings didnt have them on ziptied end. They were labeled left, right and seemed to fit without play. Since i didnt see any mention in directions i kinda forgot about it until seeing this. Kimda curios if you got an answer.
Gotta say i was tripping on how detailed the king instructions were. Even had directions on how to adjust while on the truck! Fox’ lawyers would never let that fly

I spoke with the vendor I purchased them from and they said it was supposed to come with misalignment spacers so they're shipping me a set. We will see how the fitment is after I get the set in.

Well shit. Did they say anything about any issues of running shocks without them?

They didn't mention it - I was contemplating the gap space being roughly about 1/4 of an inch. I find it hard to believe that misalignment spacers will fit in there but I'll see what they send me. I'm going to reach out to King Shocks next to verify - maybe we have a newer design for the lower shock mount that doesn't need misalignment spacers.
