There are two different ones the pictures look identical, should I go oem, or red hound auto? Anyone ever use red hound ones? Do they fit and look Ken?

Especially when they help you destroy the windshields of vehicles you pass. Last two windshield replacements were thanks to trucks passing me and kicking up rocks into my windshield. $200 deductible out of pocket each time. Thanks for that, guys, you're oh SO very cool with your mud-flap-free trucks. Hope to be as cool as you when I grow up.

Have to admit, I love reading posts from locals complaining about tickets for no mud flaps. Too bad that law isn't universal.

Has anyone used the red hound ones? I am checking for fit. I mean they look alike and are half the price!

I got rokblokz on the front today, I thought they were pricey and then they showed up with a set of rears too. The rokblokz fit on the front with oversized tires which makes them a huge plus from the OEM. If you aren't off roading or adding bigger tires, just get the oem or weather tec. If you are gonna go bigger, I'd get the rokblokz. Never heard of the red ones you are mentioning.

I believe that they are own knock offs, sold by red hound auto. Just wondering if anyone has had good luck with them. They sell shipped from 39.99-59.99. Who knows if the oem ones they sell on Amazon are really oem? They sell oem ones for 75.99-120.00.

If that is $60 for a front and rear set, you might as well try. If it is 40-60 for just front or rear, get the weather tech. They are $50 and better than OEM, though not by a ton. The OEM/WeatherTech etc... are a hard plastic and if you off road can be ripped off sorta easy. I have the weather tech on the rear and for just driving around I think they fit and look great.

In the end, this is some molded plastic and isn't a very technical product, it would be hard to mess up. As long as the mounting holes lined up, I can't see you going too wrong with any choice.

I just checked out their website, everything looks identical to oem/weathertec etc... I think you just aren't paying the extra money for their advertising department.

I MIGHT BE WRONG, as I've never used them, but they look good to me.

    I'm calling BS

Over 90% of the trucks on the road don't have mud flaps, never have and they are only required in 1-2 states. I've been driving close to 50 years, including several thousand miles a year on gravel forest service roads. Never had a broken windshield and the paint on my fenders has never been damaged by rocks. My 07 Tacoma is the only vehicle that ever had them. When the front ones broke off after 3 years I simply removed all of them. It is amazing that I've gone 186,000 miles with no body or glass damage.
