A Tacoma owners inside joke - do the Mr. Bean wave at eachother - it would really confuse the jeep crowd and everyone else.

 

Because 90% of other Tacomas I see are bro'd out pavement queens (I see you've got a spacer lift and wide aftermarket rim/tire combo, you're so unique) driven by total jackasses who seem to think tailgating should be standard operating procedure

 

We can only hope...

If there was only some tool, some way ... to search the entire internet in one go to find out.

 

I've only gotten 1 wave back so far and it wasn't even in my country. Last summer at Split Rock Lighthouse in Minnesota, was a off-road modded Inferno 3rd Gen, I saw you seeing me seeing you....respect.

 

They have to wave to show that they survived the 'great flood' - unlike these 3!

Jeepers wave at each other trying to get the other's attention because their truck is likely breaking down and they're not going to make it to the next stoplight.

 

Rumor on the streets from a jeep diehard there's bad blood between the 2doors and 4door jeepers..

 

I've waved, been waved at... a couple of thumbs up... Even had a dude in a nice taco with armor and a soft topper start up a conversation at a stoplight. My wife thinks I'm in some kind of cult..... I admitted nothing......

 

I own a Jeep too so I wave at both Jeep people and Tacomas. 9 times out of 10 I get a wave back from a fellow Wrangler when I'm in my Jeep. And probably 1 time out of 10 that I wave at a Tacoma I get wave back. The other funny thing is if I'm in my Tacoma and wave at a Jeep I usually never get a wave back either.
I vote that all of us on here at least start a thing where we start waving at each other. Maybe someday it will catch on.

 

Lol right! Man this brings me right back to Saturday morning cartoons in the 80s.

 

I suspect there should be some emerging comradery between the 4 door Jeepers and the DCLB/2WD Tacoma crowd, as both are only good for ferrying the kids to soccer practice and back.

I have a JKU Jeep and a 3rd Gen. I can usually tell who will wave but most of the time I throw up the hand to both. I receive a good many back.
