I tried to search for some threads, but I didnt really find anything too helpful.
So im hoping some of you electronics guys can help me out here. I can work on mechanical issues and what not, however, my weak area is electronics and wiring. I want to install a small LED ditch light on the rear of my truck, mounted on my bed rack. Would this be difficult to wire in to the battery and a dashboard switch? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

I made some brackets for my lights to go over the cover. Might give you some ideals.

Thanks! Im going to look it over.

Thats a pretty slick set up. I have a Frontrunner Outfitters bed rack so I planned on buying these lights https://www.frontrunneroutfitters.c...erformance-3-in-led-16w-flood-lamps-pair.html

But which lights are you using?

random idea; how difficult would it be to wire a remote system where i could turn the front and back ditch light on from w/e distance away?

If thats possible, then id be interested in doing that, too. The main reason for me wanting lighting on the back of my truck is bc I do alot of kayak fishing and for tournaments, im at the ramp well before dawn and there isnt much light around. A remote would be pretty clutch.

I'd have to imagine its possible....just a matter of how much work, money etc. is involved....someone who knows will chime in i'm sure.

Can I get the dimensions of these?? I've been looking for a way to mount some pod lights on the back of my truck just like this. My dad runs a sheet metal shop and could make these pretty easy with the dimensions.:thumbsup:
