My lowly 5-lug RWD which I picked up from a local Craigslist seller for $2000 in June 2016 had just turned 250,000 miles. In the 20 months I've had this vehicle, I've put another $2500 in repairs and upgrades including just rebuilding the front suspension and complete brake system. I may of had a wee bit of buyer's remorse a few minutes after taking possession then, but since for a vehicle with now 267000 miles, it runs like gem.

at 207k. Ive dumped a ton into maintenance, just seeing if there's any other preventative things people would do that im missing, for another couple years of worry free driving.

new steering rack and poly bushings and fluid and hardware
    new suspension bushings
    ball joints
    tie rods
    new denso radiator and fluid
    transmission cooler added
    fuel filter
oil change, diff and t case fluids were changed 3 months ago
    rear brakes (fronts are fine)
    plugs and wires
    all 3 belts
    water pump

    anything else I should do?

    262,000 miles, and still going.

No real issues, just routine maintenance items.

Sway bar end links for sure. Replaced mine and certainly noticed the difference. Cheap and not too difficult.

I just bought a 2001 2RZ 2wd with 261k. She idles high and has an exhaust leak. I will be taking out the TB and IAC to clean soon. Also I'll be replacing the spark plugs and doing an oil change to get rid of the FRAM filter. I put some Seafoam in the tank, oil, and vacuum line. I barely got any smoke out the tailpipe.

I'm getting suspicious of my front end suspension components. Not really looking forward to tackling that job.
