ok dealer installed TRD Pro rims and tires with aftermarket sensors and I have my factory tires with sensors in my back yard shed.
When the truck is in the driveway I think it picks up the tires in the shed when I drive it for a bit i lose the display for the psi.
It’s werid that it picks up the tires from that far.
So the ones installed must be not working as they stop working about 10min after driving and the low tire light comes on after about 1 hour.
Then when I get home and let it set and start it the next day it’s working again

Sorry I can't help, but I have a similar problem. I had TRD Pro wheels and new tires installed at a tire shop. They put in new sensors and they seemed to work fine on my way home, then I noticed a couple days later they weren't working. I've reset per the owners manual several times, but get no reading on the display but no low pressure lights either. I couldn't figure out why they worked for a while, but it just hit me while I'm typing this. I had the original wheels in the back of the truck! It's been a couple weeks but I've been too busy to call the shop to see what's up.

If you had it done at the dealer then take it back. They certainly should know the correct procedure. There are no known aftermarket sensors per say. They are all made by the OEM supplier which is Pacific Industrial. I don't know why a dealer would try to put something else in.

    The correct procedure is this:
Activate and read the ID numbers of the new sensors with a trigger tool (a handheld tool that you point at the valve stem).
Program the new ID numbers into the truck's ECU through the OBDII port using a programming tool or Techstream.

Thanks! I finally called the shop today and they said to stop by anytime and they will take of it. If they didn't program the new ID numbers into the ECU I would have still been picking up the original wheels in the bed on my way home, right? I'm guessing that's what happened. They were swamped that day, but no excuse.

That is exactly what has happened. Has happened to a ton of people. Basically someone considered the reprogramming a success (or forgot to) while it was picking up the original sensors.

While discussing tpms I had to have all 4 of mine replaced after 7 months. 3 of the sensors fell off the stems and were rolling around inside my tires. Yes they still read correct psi. Weirdest thing I ever saw. But very true. I actually had to prove this myself, with a video and a friend at a tire shop, before they would replace them. Cost me $10 for a junkyard wheel and tire. Mounted the one good stem and tossed the other 3 inside the same tire. Threw it in the bed. Reset tpms on dash. All 4 sensors were reading the psi in that one tire and the light stayed off.
