Picked up my Cement Grey 2018 TRD Sport today. Already debadged.

This place has already been a big source of inspiration, I can see the bottomless pit I am about to throw my wallet into.

tonneau extang solid-fold 2.0, bed mat, rear bumper step,
I took delivery of this cement earlier this month and have started to shape it to my liking. Lots of snow and ice around here so had to put on some old winter wheels while I decide what wheel and tire modification I like. Needless to say there's lots to learn and I've enjoyed that learning curve so far. In the meantime, this plain Jane cement got a few things from the dealer, like the etang tonneau, the bed mat and that bumper step which I've already found super-useful. Today I installed the KB Voodoo high-rise brackets and the cargo basket. My snowshoes are already loaded and the recovery tracks too so I'm off to the woods for a tromp. The rest of the KBVoodoo gear should arrive in a couple of days so I can install the bedrack. I must say I love the quality of their product and delivery has been prompt and smooth. Just wanted to show how I'm starting out and what fun it's been. Cheers from Ottawa!IMG_1565.jpg IMG_1565.jpg

What and how do you guys debadge these trucks ,I would like to take the tacoma letters off the doors because I think they are sorta tacky looking. How do you remove them without messing the paint up??

I had on hand a Wagner heat gun from another project. Heated up slowly and used a spent gift card to gently pry the lettering. Gently rubbed the remaining tape/glue, then used some "Goo-gone". Rinsed with water. I was careful enough that if I wanted to put the Tacoma letters back on I could, but I slightly bent the "V6", so that's done. Just take your time and don't over do the heat.

    The TRD stickers were easy.

Check out @HeadStrong Off-Road for some great stuff. I'm having trouble deciding which is better: Headstrong's prices or their customer service. BOTH! :D
