I have a Viper 5606 with the Smart Start in my 2010. The alarm doesnt sound when the alarm is triggered. I rolled down the windows, armed the truck, unlocked the doors from the inside and it honks a few times as it should but then it doesnt continue to honk. It also does the same when I trigger it using the shock sensor. I know it cant be the siren because I dont have one, its programmed to honk the horn instead. It does honk when set to panic mode and it honks when its locked/unlocked. So I know that door switches are working as the dome light does go off when they are shut. And it does honk when set to panic mode. So what could it be? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Could be in Valet Mode.

No, in valet mode the blue armed light would be steady on and not blinking. I did take the truck in to the shop who did the install and it turned out to be the diodes for the door trigger circuit.
