I'll take pics tomorrow how the clutch lines are run. But if you get under a factory manual truck, it'll be just the same. Lol

Nice. What's left of the donor truck?

Are you parting it out or putting your auto drivetrain into it to sell?

I was gonna put the auto in it to sell, but I've changed my mind, if anything I'll buy another manual to put in it this summer. Gonna do some more swapping then I'll sell it. It's still a complete truck minus transmission. Its solid...it was frame recalled I believe cause it looks brand new under there. Lol. It's a 2 owner, me and my brother. I'm planning to swap all the body panels and doors and bed. Anyways... sorry for the long answer to your short question. I'm still excited I'm on the home stretch with the swap

That's what I was thinking. You'd make more money putting a tranny back in it and selling it rather than parting it out. Nothing was wrong with it beforehand?

No. Ran fine. Lol. 525000 miles. If I put a tranny in it it'll be another manual. So the auto and everything associated with it including the ECU is definitely up for grabs.

Lol. I'd have to hook the battery up to get an exact amount. I think it's a little more than that. I'll check it out tomorrow while I'm cleaning up.

Also how did you get a welder in that spot to tack the clutch hose bracket in. I couldn't get at it so I used a right angle drill to make three holes then riveted it with steel rivets.

Oh yeah!! Thanks for the props! This is my first auto to manual swap. I've changed a lot of transmissions but always the same. Manual for manual or auto to auto. Its great

I have Lincoln might welder... the gun fit up in there...I just welded all the way across the bottom of the bracket. Make sure you pull your carpet and lay a wet rag on the sound deadening tar or it'll melt and smoke. Lol

Haha very true about that sound deadening junk. I was gonna use a stick welder cause my MIG gun doesn't fit. But the rivets haven't loosened a bit so I may just leave it since the bracket isn't under much pressure.

Oh yeah, speedytech7, I welded the bracket in before I installed tranny. That's why I had so much room to work.
