XM radio images

Anybody else find the artist images to be ridiculous? This was today’s gem. Anyway to change these?

 

I don't believe you can change them as that's what it's broadcasting I believe.

XM pisses me off on theses trucks though because of the way it doesn't numerically scroll using the steering wheel. Keeps making a big loop of one genre and that's even more annoying to me than seeing the wrong artist

 

Ya, not a fan of how they have it setup either. My GTI is so much cleaner. Shows you just the image of the station, instead of it being the xm number like ours.

 

FM HD does it too. The pictures are broadcast with the audio therefore you cannot 'change' them

 

I ended up turning the images off. Some of the images looked really silly.

 

How?

 

Listen to XM 46, 47, 51. You will get a Ja Rule pic from a red carpet showing, Justin Timberlake circa 2002 with his bleach blonde hair and shades that turn dark when it hits the sun while listening to his latest album. It’s dated. Not current, not pertinent to what is playing. I’ve seen Beyoncé songs with Destiny’s Child group pics. If you think that’s acceptable, and not tacky, to each his own. I on the other hand, think it looks extremely dated. Hence “how” I think it looks silly.

 

I feel the opposite with on David Lee Roth on Hair Nation.

Lol, it’s in the sound settings I believe. My brother has a Ram with XM, their pics look MUCH better. Don’t know who’s in charge of doing the selections.
