    How hard is the measuring? Is it as easy as keeping it identical on both sides and directly above the axle?

    If you are good at paying attentuon to detail and measuring 3 times then rather easy. Luckily I have a friend who is good at it :rofl:

    @FadedComa hydro dipping is indeed durable and does get into the cracks, but it isn't actually the liquid that sticks to the item, its a film that you lay ontop of water and dip it through the film, it would be hard to do a complete bumper IMO. you would need a huge tub and a very large film to cover the bumper in one shot but its worth looking into.

    @Justanotherhemi I do like the option 2, if there was some available for my year then I would be going with those haha they would match my tails really well. I think they look good!

    @Redmann bumper looks great! almost looks like u guys knew what u were doing hahaha

    @Subway4X4 check out @inesshell build thread, he just did his and there are lots of pictures there

    Measure before you remove the leafs and measure 100x before welding everything in front to back and in a x above the axle. Use the spring perch as your axle measure point and in the frame on the side under the door there is a oval hole in each side of the Frame. Use that as your forward measure point.

    @Justanotherhemi I have been doing some looking for headlights for you haha I think the ones FadedComa posted up are pretty much the simplest cleanest ones without doing a retrofit on ur current lights

    They are nice but @FadedComa s are nicer. They look clean and elegant not like they belong in original Fast & Furious

    @Bocsy44

    Look at these beauties! I could have sworn they were $750 retros from here and not ebay projectors

    oh I know, and I do agree with you. I swarmed him with questions and picture requests hahahaha I will be going that route for sure, the Tacoma is getting pampered AF this year, I think they will look nice paired with my homertaco grill hahaha I am thinking you can just buy some cheap ass ebay ones and retrofit them yourself. could be a fun project
