So I have a 2007 manual with 170,000 miles on the original clutch. So far it has been fine except for the chirp. I have started to assemble parts for a new clutch, because eventually it is bound to give up. I had planned to get the TSB slave cylinder parts with the new spring, longer rod, pivot ball, and fork. It sounds like this idea might not be the best, since it is intended to create constant contact between the TOB and the clutch fingers? Sounds like the TOB is not up to constant contact? Is there any new thinking here?

Is the URD quill sleeve and OEM bearing compatible with these parts? Is a better combination the old short spring, short rod, and short pivot ball, coupled with the sleeve and URD bearing? I could not find these on the URD website. How do I buy them??

Given the life I have gotten from the stock clutch, I guess I will stay with the stock disk and pressure plate there.

I love the idea of the heavier flywheel from URD. Am I correct in assuming this is also compatible with the above mentioned parts??

I want to get everything on the shelf so that when the time comes, I am ready to do the work. Toyota will never get my money again for a new vehicle. I may buy another Toyota, but it will be used, and I will expect to take responsibility for the all the crap they left unresolved.
