Thank you. I often have trouble turning visions into reality. It looked soo much better in my mind. I'm glad I took that brisket pic last night. Everything was against me today. The second I started the smoker, it started snowing like hell. Smokers are uncovered, temp control issues, water leaking in from snow melting.... etc. etc.

I live in Cowboy country, but I'm not much of a football fan *watches for chairs being thrown at him*.

I have a few pals that are good dudes save for being obnoxious Cowboy fans. If the Eagles win, it takes away about their only joke used against Eagle fans, which would be kind of nice. For that, I suppose I'll pull for them.

I will be in a hotel that is about 500 feet from Gillette Stadium tomorrow in Foxborough. I was there last year right after the Super Bowl, too. Remarkably quiet, actually. We'll see how tomorrow is!

 

Ive never been a fan...and after the kneeling for the national anthem BS I wont ever be a football fan. but hey everyone has their pastimes and hobbies so Im not judging

I was exactly that way all my life until 7 years ago... my gf’s daughter took us to a Hawks game (my hometown) and I didn’t at all wanna go, too much bs and people, boring etc. Her daughter was explaining what was happening on field because she knew I didn’t give a shit but we were there, so why not. Then, in the last few minutes of game they went to get garlic fries and I was up there all by my lonesome when Marshawn Lynch pulled off BeastQuake #1. My god, it was an out of body experience, the place was literally shaking. It even registered on the Richter scale, hence the name. In that moment all the shit my dad had tried to teach me about sports when I was a kid came to the surface, and I understood, and I was hooked. I’m hugging some dude next to me I don’t even know, the whole place was electric. Since that day, I’ve been a NFL junkie. Go figger.
