Anyone have thoughts as to what is making this noise? I'm thinking maybe it's just compacted snow and ice rubbing between the cab/frame as the truck moves. All the suspension components look normal but I haven't been able to get the truck on a lift to really look it over.

Sounds like Styrofoam rubbing on something.

    Not had that noise before.

Only thing I can think of also. I need to find an indoor hot water car wash or finish fixing my Range Rover and get it out of the garage so I can defrost the Tacoma.

Pretty sure the noise was caused by compacted dirt, gravel and snow in the front cab mounts. I finally got the chance to go to an indoor heated car wash and hose everything off and had a lot of grunge come out of the cab mount area when I shoved the pressure washer up there. The drive home was nice and quiet again. Maybe I should find some mud flaps for the front.
