2017 Gray Metallic Tacoma TRD Sport

I need some help! For the past 2 days when I have left my truck sit, I crank it up and it goes into reverse with no problems. I shift to drive and it touch and go and today it died out this morning and the High Transmission Alarm showed. It acts like it will go and then it will act like my foot is not even in the gas. Any body had this trouble or do I need to take it to the dealer?

Should be a code stored for the problem .
There are low fluid problems , but I beleive you have another issue altogether .

Just to elaborate on your cold shifting problem ...
It goes into reverse fine but as soon as you put the transmission into forward , the truck stalled ?
