Depends which vendor the bed stiffeners came from.

Some extend up to that bolt location, others dont.

I have a similar brand to this one on the driverside with the bed stiffeners - I think I just put the antenna mount on the bolt side of the stiffener and bent the bracket at more of an angle to fit.. It scrapes a bit but works fine.

Exactly, there are some bed stiffeners that mount in other locations than others. But also we will be making a new product line of bed stiffeners that will work perfectly with our Mount.

I would also be weary if you already have the steel tailgate skins and caps. I know my cap from VooDoo just barely makes contact with the bolt used in that location and it's also a hair wider than the tailgate itself.

I have the voo-doo as well - all I did was loosen then skin and shifted it away and no issues.
I might buy one of these to have a mount on both sides...One for the CB the other for a led or something.

Also if you have the Voo Doo bed caps the metal is thicker where the bolts go in as well.

Yea, there have only been a few of us who can't get his cap to fit without touching that bolt. I ended up just taking it off while I looked for a more flushed bolt head to use. That was about 10 months ago and I still haven't put the bolt back on. :anonymous:

Yes, Some companies to mount there bed stiffeneres to those two bolts where our mount mounts too. But that we know of most companies don't go that high on there mounting loaction. But very soon we will be offering that as a new product.

I don't need one of the brackets but man, that brake is sweet! I'd bend up all sorts of stuff I had no use for just to play with it. :bananadance:

Also one thing to consider is the hole position for mounting things on this. I had to make another hole farther towards outside of truck on mine because my leer 100R shell rear window wouldnt close with my led pod mounted there. Just something to consider if you have a shell and get this ask them to put the hole wider to accommodate. Or re drill yourself.
