    I'm quoting and bumping an old thread because I am really dumb.

    I worked at a dealership when I bought my truck, and I had seen some Tacomas without the filter as I describe here. I found out yesterday that my truck DOES in fact have a filter.... A filter that has been there since April of 2006 for a total of 192,600 miles. Imagine how good it looked when I took it out.
