    I just measured in various locations: ~4" from roof to top of rack at forward mounting bolts, 3.5" at center mounting bolts and 3.75" at rear bolt mounts. Moving toward the center of the cab/roof, my rack sits about 3.25" high right in the middle of the truck. You'll get different measurements because your truck's roof is not flat, so depending on where you measure, it will vary slightly. I think it's safe to say the rack doesn't sit any higher than about 4 inches from your rooftop.
