Has anyone ever changed their factory antenna for a powered one? I've been searching and all I could find was this post at TN:

It's from 2008 and he noted that it was a Metra Universal Power Antenna. I found this Metra at Crutchfield:

I called Crutchfield and Metra but neither could say if it would fit a Tacoma. They said it all depends on the base. The steepest base it comes with is 30 degrees. I'm not sure if this would be okay or if the existing one can be used.

Is there anyone who used this Metra or another?

    Thanks
