Bilstein 8112 Coilovers?

Looks like Bilstein is finally coming to the coilovers market for Tacoma’s! Anyone else heard or confirm this?

Not sure where you see 2000??? Aren’t you jumping a 100 there?? Besides I’m sure the price will drop once more retailers get these.

Shipping is typically free and no tax for most states. Just got to know where to buy.

 

Most on here can't figure out what size tire to run with out rubbing, let alone figure out where to shop online.

 

They have been super slow to market. They came out last year. They are putting some of their good tech into high end performance finely. I was considering them last year but nobody had any when I was buying.

 

Maybe you do. When the 6112s first came out they were priced at 799 I believe but you can get them for 590 right now. These will sell for cheaper no doubt.

 

Look for their 2016 sema truck video. They drove from Cali to vegas off road then pulled into the show still dirty.

 

And install if you are not inclined.

 

These are an internal bypass shock. I don't think king makes those. So fan boyness a side kings are fantastic. I have no doubt these will be awesome as well.

 

Which you would still pay if they were kings. I don't think they do it for free.

Long before king, icon, fox, etc the likes of bilstein has been developing things for a long time. I ran some reservoir coilovers on my old MkII GTI with h&r springs essentially it was a race set up. Bilsteins don't hold their value on the secondary market because they are essentially a little better stock replacement as compared to Kings. Also if you are buying shocks for resale value you have your priorities wrong. This is just another competitor to the market which is good. Bilstein has decades of r&d over the other brands it will be interesting to see what will be the outcome of this.
