Couldn’t find a lot of info on how to install these bumpers. It would have been nice to see where other people cut their bumpers and how it turned out. I took some pictures of my install. I went slow and cut a little at a time. I ended up with zero gaps, fits good all the way around.

    Short Review:

SSO did a decent job on the bumper. Although I wasn’t overly impressed with the quality, the welds on the back of the bumper aren’t very good at all, looks like it’s on top of the metal instead of bonded. but the welds that are visible when the bumper is installed are okay. Also I think my hoop has a slight slant it looks like it goes down hill on the driver side. I measured..and it does it’s a little over a 1/4” lower on the driver side which is enough to be noticeable if you look. Kinda pisses me off since it took over 3 months to get to my door and I spent a ton of money on color matching it. The last thing I noticed is that where the light bar mount is welded on (driver side) it shows through on the front. You can see where they welded it, looks like they got it too hot. Doesn’t bug me as much as the hoop slant though lol. I’ll be giving them a call soon to see what they can do about it.

    p.s. I’m a little OCD

    Hope these pictures help!

Did you just measure the hoop gap? The entire bumper looks slope following the the black trim around the bumper too.

If you use the horizontal bars in the lower grille for reference, it appears to be that the whole bumper is lower on the driver's side. Even the lines on the bumper cover itself look to confirm this.

The hoop would drive me crazy and I would be asking for it to be returned and fixed. Way too much $$ to have that type of issue which you will be looking at all of the time.

Top of the bumper to the bottom of the hoop. It’s not taco lean.

I think it looks great. I'm not sure anyone but you, and us, would really notice that.

You can see it pretty good in this pic. The bumper goes on snug too, there is NO adjustment for side to side. ED415414-E8A3-45C7-BFB1-C90480B66D98.jpg
