So I have a 2017 at utility. I currently have 3700 miles on it. I was looking at the tires the other day and noticed uneven wear. The driver side is wearing on the inside and the passenger side is wearing on the outside. Pulling up the tread but only in those spots. Has anyone else had problems with this? I have a new set of rims n tires but don't want to put em on till I get this fixed. Should be a warranty thing I would think.

I've seen a few reports of bad factory alignments. I took mine in for some vibration issues and they claimed the alignment was out and did an alignment under warranty. I think they are allowed to give you a free one through Toyota Care. I'd take it in and point out the issue.

Is your steering wheel spoke straight and level center as you drive down a straight road?? If it's not than you have alignment issues.
You should have two free alignments for the first 36k miles, take it to the dealer if its not aligned as described above

    Cheers!

I've been noticing lately that the steering in my Tacoma seems really touchy and twitchy. Its like it won't ever go straight even on a straight road. Always wants to wander from side to side.

Check your tire pressure. Might be a bit high, and driving on the crown of the tire.

I actually work on cars for a living, so I know there is a problem. I was just wondering how common it was.

I don't think its common at all. Every Toyota I ever bough was align to where I never had too.
