So you ran your stuff from the cab, to the engine bay, then to the bed?

A few mods here and there and counting....
I ran three sets of wires through that grommet, rear camera, bed lights/rear aux lights and have no issues. Never sealed it either. Just cut the slit enough to feed the wire through and wire loom the rest of the factory wiring for a nice/clean oems look. Easy stuff. You can do it!

Yup I didnt want to go throught the gromment on the ground for the same reasons you had, worried about sealing it back up. So i just ran it to the main engine gromment were I went through on all my other accesories. Wanted to keep everything in one place

Poke a hole slightly smaller than the wire you are running rather than cut a slit and you will end up with a better/intact weather seal.

That’s what I did when I ran coax up through my pass side floor grommet.

That’s what I did, ran under the truck with my cb wire then to engine bay to relay.

If I was to do that....and take the wires from the back of the truck up into the engine compartment...

Do you run the wires along the frame between the Cab Mount and the cab?

Then up into the engine compartment? I was looking at this route yesterday

Seems like the wires would be very close to the cat ( i know its shielded, but still worries me)

That's what I did. Loom them and then run them on top of the frame rail into the engine compartment to their respective relays

Thanks man. Still trying to decide if I want to take everything under and into the factory grommet or just do that with the coax and run everything else directly to the engine compartment and into the cab.

I did a thread on my CB installation, but I just picked up a 4' Firestik Firefly to compliment the 2' Firestik and let me say it's a great way to reach out and touch someone. SWR numbers are pretty darn good.

And it was a good morning for me. After replacing the steering rack and installing a new shock I was off to get an alignment. Start to pull out the driveway and POP, blew a CV :p
