Coincidence, but I just did this last weekend.

+1 on the baking soda and water method. Works on its own! Bubbles up and just rinse off.

OP definitely over complicated all this, but I guess it doesn't hurt (and at least he is aware haha).

As others have suggested though, OP should have greased or sprayed terminals.

Well, if you take into consideration the factory never used any grease or at least Vaseline at all, I think I did good:thumbsup:

But to be fair, not using lube seems to be embedded into the Toyota culture because the dealer didn’t use any lube at all on me when they sold me this truck. Not even a tiny dab! :(

Nah, you did fine. It just may require a revisit/re-clean sooner than if it were lubed.

Seems minimal, but maybe just a cost or process they didn't want to worry about. I wouldn't base it off the fact that it wasn't there originally, but more on the fact that it's a slight improvement.

Not critical to function/longevity whatsoever though, as long as properly maintained

So if there’s blue buildup on the battery terminals should I clean it or is this not that serious, I just noticed it today

Unknown lift, maybe 2" I don't know how to ID it, and would rather set it back to stock.
Yeah, clean it up as outlined in this thread. It's not like it'll get better on its own.
