The bartender tonight was hilarious. The NFL network was in the TVs and they were replaying the game.

I was drinking Jack Daniels Rye and the pours were quite tall

That was disgusting. Why would anyone do that, or even think of that? I know alcohol is the answer, but I’ve never been drunk enough to think that’d be a good idea.

 

Pitfaced BBQ Meat Massage and some smoke will do wonders for a lot of stuff, but I don't think there is any salvaging horse turds.

Sorry all wife was still down yesterday. Is getting better is back to work today. SO I will make the Ribs tonight. May not enter the contest as there is no catching the wunderkinds here but I will share once they are ready.

 

Tight race early on! Plenty of time to get votes, thugth.

 

Ribs are on the smoker, lot's of rub on them and I may reapply the rub in 2-3 hours to try and get somewhat of a candied type glaze going on them. Had to do a couple with just SPG on then so the daughter has something to eat she doesn't do spice. When I get my next break the PF beans will go on there with them for a few hours.

 

First off sorry for the late post and the not so great pictures. As has been my life lately things got rushed at the last minute. Was MIGHTY tasty. Smoked 4 hours, was tender but kept a nice bite to it. PF gave it a nice candy like coating. I had no sauce on it and wife didn't use any till the last part.

Didn't get the corn done, didn't realize I didn't have any cream so maybe I will make those this coming weekend.

Baked Beans: These are my simple recipe (Bushes Baked, Ketchup, Carrolls Medium Sausage (place in Georgia on I75 AWESOME sausage), Local Honey) Cooked on the smoker.



Country Pork Ribs: 2 stages of PF Rub (One before it was on and then again half way through)

 

That double PF treatmebt looks like it gave them an amazing "glaze" treatment. And the beans look great too!
