Ugh, tell me about it. Last night I was laying in bed thinking about a conference in Seattle I have coming up in a couple months and started seriously thinking about driving it. I had to get out of bed and map it out on the 'puter. The amount of cool things to potentially see along the way was overwhelming.

dude! That would be a bucket list trip for me personally (mostly since im a texan guy)... You could pass through many of the awesome offroad adventure spots on the way. If it were me, I would probably try to get there quicker and then meander on the way back checking out all the spots. The only thing is doing it solo.... wow, thats a lot of miles!

"What...do u even lift, bro!?":rofl::rofl: You forgot to specify the Prinsu rack too, just as a heads up.

Seriously, though - you were a fully kitted out baja truck in disguise. You left us in the dust so many times...I was amazed on what you made it through & how quickly you did it. Seriously impressive. I'm a little scared to follow you down the trails now that you've got some beefed up suspension under the truck.

Les' DOOO EETTTTTT. Man, if you've ever got some time free on the weekends where you're not wrenching, let's go! Or, if there's a big trip that you wanna plan...bam, let's get out there. Bonus points - Its a little easier to tell @riz_atx to "Send it" when there's somebody that might actually know how to un-bugger up the truck afterwards, hahahaha.

Amen. Adventures are to be had, and shenanigans are to be....uh...shenaniganed? Need to find some more dirt trails to hit...and somewhere to actually get photos of your truck going airborne!

AMEN! I'll pimp it out, fo sho! Gotta get some designs together, and get this thing done. :fingerscrossed:

Thank you sir! I appreciate all the votes of confidence....I'm sure there'll be more. . Y'know...once the bills are all paiiiiiiiid.

Latest mod to the truck - after a very, very, very long night spent at Triple C Chop Shop: my suspension got a bit of an upgrade.

The Bilstien 5100's are great shocks that are definitely leaps and bounds above stock. The ride was honestly pretty decent and it took care of my biggest complaint in the 4Runner's stock suspension, which was heavy nosedive upon braking. It wasn't the greatest for high speed, or heavy hits, but overall it was definitely good.

Over the past year, I had, however, began piecing together a little bit beefier suspension upgrades. Ever since ARB announced the Old Man Emu BP-51 shocks a few years ago, I had been eyeing them. In January, they released a 4Runner-specific fitment kit.

Thanks to the wonderful Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road, it quickly became a reality. (Seriously, she's amazing, and super-quick and responsive!) Full suspension upgrade accomplished. SPC Light Racing UCA's, with @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc Super Bumps and brake lines, and OME BP-51's.

Rutted roads at 50mph? No problem whatsoever.

@Texoma & CCC Chop Shop. Working late into the night...finished up around 11PM on a Sunday night. He did an awesome, job!

Rears - already muddy (day 2)

    Aaaaaand, the results:

Still have a bit of adjusting to do (increasing the preload on the front coils to bring the front end up to level)....but after a couple of test runs...the ride is AMAZING.
