Takes a while for the young pups to learn and listen from the older and wiser generation.

 

Supposedly she was leaving the house now to go get him... I asked her to let me know when she got there, when she left, and then when she got back home.

Think she'll listen to me and let me know????????? FUCK NO. She's been pissing me the fuck off lately.

A few weeks ago she sent money to our sister in law via PayPal, from our checking account, to cover our share of renting the house in the Outer Banks for when we go in July. SHE told me how much exactly, and what for.

This morning a get a nasty toned text asking what I spent X $$ on by PayPal, from our checking account.

I felt like telling to go take a hike... asked her what SHE did.

 

Yeah but she's got hot friends.

 

Not doing me any good though.

 

Maybe I'm being a devil on your shoulder.

 

And I just found out she's only leaving the house now. WTF. I told her as soon as I got the email from daycare to make sure she gets him early, just in case. Figured she'd let him eat lunch there and then would go get him. Told me she was leaving the house about 10-15 minutes ago, and come to find out she hasn't even left.

I give up. She has no sense of priority when it comes to the kids. I tell her all the time to get out of work on time, or at least not stay around as long as she usually does, to get them, to be able to get home, do what we need to do and spend some time with them, to not stay up until 1-2 am doing shit for work... But nope... in one fucking ear and out the other.

Meanwhile I get to work early so I can leave early and get the oldest from daycare, so he's not there super late all the time and be the last one to pick up, I try to get them fed and bathed early so they can play and do stuff, and not go to bed super early without spending some time with us... Seems like the other half doesn't bother.

 

Come to RI. They only let us renew by mail or online now. I haven't been in a DMV in years.

 

Sounds like maybe you need a counselor to tell her, then.
Or just do what I do and don't get married or have kids. Oops, too late!

 

I've considered going to therapy myself, but just me, in case there is something wrong with me... I really have. Seems like more and more each day I need to look into that, before something happens.
