    Is there any way to disable the green ect pwr button on the dash so it doesnt light up green anymore with ect on? Id rather it be off

    When more ECT mods are ready, the PAYPAL button(first page-first post) will let you checkout and pay for one. So keep an eye out for my updates.
    The button is only needed is you;
    1)manually wanted to turn it off for that drive
    2)manually deactivate it for ever.

    Other than that, once it's activated and on, the button is not used anymore... so I guess yes you could remove it.

    Got it.... I thought there was maybe a switch on the modded unit.
    Prolly need to keep the button for the option of maybe you want to turn it off one day....

    I did notice on today's drive however once I was up to speed and cruising along, shutting off ECT had no effect visually on my tack or speedo, nor the seat of my pants....

    what happens if you disconnect the battery, what mode will the mod be in when you reconnect the battery?

    Doesn't change a thing. The arduino has built in flash memory so it remembers the last setting regardless of power disconnect.

    there is a DIY thread... I wanted to do it myself also... but after calculating the cost considering I don't have wires,t-taps,connector lying around... I would only save $20.

    Although the wait is killing me! @mesojdm please have enough for us all... :)
