    Hey Everyone,

I'm trying to gain a better understanding of front suspension components and mechanical workings. Also, I am well aware of the LBJ thing and have kind of had an AHA moment, which ultimately created more questions...

So I've noticed that in several suspension kits, and as an upgrade by itself, you can purchase more robust Upper Control Arms. From what I've seen these upgraded control arms do away with the stock style upper ball joint and trade that for something that is (at least appears) much more robust. The steering knuckle is then bolted to this steel ball mechanism, and all is well.

My question is, is there possibility of getting an upgraded LOWER suspension arm, that also trades the known problem area Lower Ball Joints for something equally robust to connect to tie rods? I believe I've seen something that appears that way, but seemed only available for long travel kits. Is there a product that keeps stock geometry/clearances/etc. that can be replaced similarly to upgraded upper control arms?

I'll let anyone chime in at this point as I feel like I'm rambling a bit.

    Thanks all.
