Was not hoping to lift just hoping to provide more support for my weak springs. Is there a heavy duty shock I can put on?

Surely there’s a mileage cut off.

I did not notice any change in height. My butt ride monitor didn't notice any change, either.

Those Helwig helper springs are the cheapest way to get some added resistance to bottoming. Don’t think you could do it with shocks.

Doesn’t look like mine applies. I have 120k on mine. This is only recall shown.

I had my leaf springs replaced three times by Toyota at no charge. First time was under warranty when I complained about harsh ride when carrying a load. They gave me the TSB replacement springs. Better but still not great. Next time was at around 130,000 miles when they replaced the frame. However they put the non-TSB springs on as part of that frame replacement even though I told them about what had been done previously. The third replacement was done a few weeks later when they replaced those brand new non-TSB springs with another new set of TSB replacement springs. Again it was better but not great. Ended up installing air bags so I could tow or carry a heavy load without affecting the ride too much. TSB = Toyota Service Bulletin.

I’m considering adding that. Then I’ll have the clamp in front of the axle for wrap resistance and the helper spring behind to help hold it up. Will look like a cyborg Bionic truck. I also have 1” block lol. All bandaged up.

So even tho there’s no recall for my truck i can just go into a dealership and demand spring replacements?

What he is saying is go complain about bottoming out and have check for recall springs,

Not sure what your budget is, but you can just trash the stock leafs/TSB etc because the stock leafs are just that; TRASH.

Deaver or Alcan can make you a custom pack, no lift and whatever load capacity you would want.
