Hello everyone. These belonged to my second father who passed away in 1999. While he did leave me a 1913 Colt 1911 and a P08, I really do not have a use for these. I just took them to a coin store who said there totaled 34.08 ounces of silver all together. He said he would give me $500.26 for them. He also said they might be worth more to a gun collector. As I really do not want to see these melted down, I would rather sell them to someone with an interest in them. Anyone think $550.00 plus shipping would be fair? Let me know.

On the back of each ingot is a VERY brief description of the weapon on the front of it.

You could keep them for the silver value. Having some silver and/or gold around is not a bad thing. Unless you need the money I would keep them. JMHO. Your second father really loved you if he left you these. Get a professional appraisal of these before selling. These may be worth more than the silver value.
