Mods please move this if it’s not in the correct forum.

Let me start off by saying that Tacoma World is absolutely a bad ass place. I haven’t been able to put my phone down since I was introduced to all you folks.

I’m looking for recommendations for my first overland trip. Currently the truck is mostly stock without any lifts or wench (yet). I am looking for a 2-3 day trip and don’t really care what part of the country it is in bc after the summer is over I will have 2 months off of work. It will be my first 4x4 trip and I’ve never done one before. I want a trip that will require 4x4 because that’s why I bought one, but one that won’t beat the hell outta my stock truck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

What part of the country are you starting from? Check out any land your state has set aside for hunting. Usually some decent trails can be found.

If it’s true overland you will need a lot of crap. A general camping and easy trail ride with scenery, go to Ouray CO. The rails are easy and it’s a beautiful place with lots to do in the town and near by

Where do I find information for this trail? I might be able to do this one on my way up to Montana at the end of May unless snowpack will be an issue

Type in Ouray Co trails. They are normally 1-3 hours each and there’s are 12-15 I think. Let me look to see if I can find the link. We stayed at the KOA down the road and we had an absolute blast.
