Finally upgraded my 91 Toyota Pickup to a 2017 TRD . What a difference it is and by browsing this place I can tell you it's going to start costing me a lot of money in upgrades haha.Photo_2017-12-02_05-21-34_PM.jpg

Unfortunitly not :( Massachuetts got new inspection laws in Octpber 2017 which makes modifed, old, rusted, lifted anything basically unable to pass now. I also didn't want the "headache" to come back to me if i sold to a private party, so i ended up trading it in to the dealer. - She will be missed!

I am aware! Former MA guy here, moved shortly before they made the change to a more truck friendly state.

When i originally sprayed it with safety orange/red Rust-oleum it was the same color when first painted ( at least for the first 3 months), but the sun had faded it to a red color in person... the lighting in the picture makes it look very close to the same color though.

Yeah, it's not fun anymore, looking to do an exhaust and lift but need to "stay" with in the law now. If i had not bought a house 2 years ago i prob. would move haha.

Did they keep the wheelbase/wheel track formula for how much lift you are allowed?

Yes for 4x4 trucks in MA its wheelbase x wheel track divided by 2200, which is roughly 3.75" Lift for the 2017 Tacoma.

Yessir, for my 95 it was 2.75" and one garage refused to pass me at 2.5" because it was "too close".
