Yaaaayyyyyy ANOTHER stupid thread about this. Let's keep making them so the home page is filled with threads about the 2019 pro lineup.

Minus the part where the raptor is purpose built and has a diesel.

I wish toyota would either add power to the TRD or give a diesel option but we all know neither of those will happen.

As someone who doesn't like the snorkel, it's not because its useful or not, I just don't think it fits. Look at @mesojdm and his snorkel. There is a lot he has done to his truck in addition to the snorkel that really brings it together and I think looks really good. The other details and things him and others have added also tell you "Hey, I actually use this sometimes too" (at least we hope) I don't think a factory snorkel with nothing else going on says that. Let's be a little honest and admit that the looks of the pro play a fair role in people buying them-they look badass and people want that look. Just adding the snorkel doesn't have that same effect IMO, and that's all it is, my opinion. It might be useful as hell, but I think it sticks out and needs some supporting mods...which anyone on this forum would do anyways.

Pretty sure the diesel won't be sold in NA though.

I agree. In my opinion it looks like someone wanted to mod their truck but didn't know where to start

Pretty sure you're right, which sucks.

Hilux diesel in US tacoma would be nice.

You know what's funny to? The people who are posting their same responses or opinions from the other 5 pro threads. Like they are afraid someone might care or have missed what they said in the last thread.

How about some improved suspension travel? They market it as a Raptor alternative, yet no long arm kit to take advantage of those shocks. Then it would be worth buying.

There seems to be an unwritten rule that any 3rd gen thread is incomplete until someone mentions a diesel engine, and the Hilux.
Thanks for covering the bases, lol

I concur. Just throwing a snorkel(although it is functional) on a stock truck looks out of place. With other exterior mods, it's less of an eye sore and helps blend in.

Don't forget Ranger. Hard to find a thread where someone without a Tacoma comes in and says how great it's going to be.

Can't wait to see people purchasing PROs just to strip the upgraded suspension out of them. LOL

Leather seats are pretty cheap in comparison to the PRO price tag.
