    Hey guys, im thinking of getting back into a tacoma but looking for a TRD OR long bed. I have test driven a few trucks and not sure im sold on them yet. Back in the 90's and early 2000's i had several tacoma's, a 96, 99, 2000 and 2004. I loved the 96 but the front end seemed like they all had the same bump in them, even with new parts. Im 6'4" so getting under the steering wheel without sliding the seat back each time is somewhat of a maneuver. I drove a 17 with manual trans and 10K miles and other than it being white and a short bed, I really liked it. Drove a new 18 short bed and the rear drums must have been warped a little like i have been reading. Finally today, i drove a 18 long bed in black but I really have my heart set on silver. Anyway's, thanks for all the great info here!
