    1. That factory recovery point shown in the image is strong, if you can get something attached to it.

    2. Forget about a D ring. Find a factory TRD hook. You can loop a strap around it and not worry about a shackle. I yanked out a 20 foot RV stuck in a creek with mine, it took several hard tugs. They usually go for around $40 on the forums, way better than the overpriced aftermarket points being sold out there. Make sure it comes with bolts.
