What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

@Digiratus, they are designed to work with super bumps and timbrens...

 

I have the allpoo ones with timbrens mounted on them. They look a little different. They don't have the bent up ends. Otherwise identical.

 

Mine were billed as being for 2nd gens too. Fit just fine.

 

I don't know why Wheeler's only has their kit listed for 2nd gens, the ubolts they use are exactly the same width and radius as the ones they sell for 1st gens.

 

Bet that things more peppy then even the regular v6 single cabs... when i ran without the A/C for a day the truck felt way more responsive..

 

just ordered my ARB front bumper. cant wait till it gets here lol

 

Wonder if a good magnet taped under that flip up center would work. Gonna have to try it out. I like what you did there

Slight difference in spindles will cause it.

beside the guy has the shakes and made my eyes hurt.... I like the color. The convertible thing is a waste IMO. A unique truck.

 

When there forged they come out still glowing red. Difference in cooling can cause slight variances in them. The machining of the holes for upper ball joint and tierod end can be a little different. That's one reason the make the alignment adjustable. Also the forging dies/molds can wear as the years of use over and over. The mid 70's Chevy trucks you could really see the changes in the body panels. As the final years of that model you could see the sharp bends were more rounded from the first years. Due to wear on the stamping molds.

 

An alignment would fix that, right?
