Massachusetts/North east Tacoma meetup?

We have two seperate parking lots (one under construction, but done by this spring) and I was thinking we could set up like a hang out area/grill or whatever in one of them. If guys with more capable trucks want to group up and hit the harder trails while some go to pittsfield or just hang out there. Would provide a pretty good "base camp" that everyone could rotate out of for the day or two. It also has bathrooms too so that's always a plus. And over the last year or so I've cut in a couple miles of hiking trails that people who are hanging around and not going wheeling could enjoy. Also dog friendly if you throw their crap into the woods and they don't eat the shit out of people.

 

I go up to Moosehead with my family and close friends, have hiked the crash site bunch of times, but never made it to the trains, only my son, my self and a buddy want to check it out, so we seem to get voted out (its a day of driving) by the others.

 

I would be all over this. Down for camping, cooking, drinking, wheeling and general shenanigans.

 

I know a few members on hear did i trip to the trains early spring one time and the roads out there were basically wheeling. Its off the beaten path pretty damn good though but it sounds good

 

Some people drive so far and hike.

Now that i revisit this thread i reread some of these suggestions and this sounds awesome Greg! Old florida Road in Adams MA mixed with a bit of pittsfield with a good base camp would totally be a blast. Might inconvenience the rock buggies in Adams that go out there on 40's but hey everyone needs their fair shot at an obstacle eh.
