On the truck front - Mobtown sliders are at the paint shop, should be getting put on next week (I hope). My little off-budget-truck-part-saving-schemes are working as planned, so I should be pulling the trigger on full steel skid plates in the next month or so and a SwitchPro 9100 later this month or early next... :fingerscrossed:

Paint shop, laying textured finish over a strong black primer. Should make rustoleum touch ups easier, less noticeable. I hope...

Very nice! Until you use those sliders and realized that rattle canning would have been cheaper, but you are not in a climate to really rattle can something right now are you?

May I want a switchpro so bad... it is def on the list to order after the front end and UCAs...

Not a pop up, not a fan of all the moving parts and everything.

But a small camper of sorts, pretty much what I want in a tear drop but more space in it and more amenities included than some of the way more expensive tear drops out there, with room to expand down the road with a RTT and such. All aluminum frame as well, rear double doors, foxwing awning included, 120v A/C, 12v MAXXAIR Fan, Dometic Fridge, 2 burner propane stove, bluetooth audio system inside, solar ready with ZAMP, offroad hitch, all LED lighting, and offroad tires and a lift on it.

Picture shows pretty much exactly what it would be, except I would not have the RTT on it at first, later down the road I will get a CVT when they go on sale or something.

Customer service is top notch with this company, have been emailing them asking questions and they respond quickly with very detailed answers to help me out. If the customer service person doesn't know, the owner of the company emails me with the answer.

There is a local RV place that is a dealer for them, so going to try and go look at them this weekend or next week when I get time.

I want to do something along the lines of this, with some camp lighting and marine speakers off the back, a roadshower, and the rotopax on there for spare water as well.

This is actually the owners trailer that he uses.

Yeah. I ordered them bare with all the intent of painting them myself. But now that they're here (and seeing how really big, heavy and unwieldy they are), and with no real let up in freezing temps and precipitation, I decided to just get them done.

That camper looks great. Is there room inside for sleeping, or is it committed to being a push-out-base-camp type trailer?

Sorry to hear. Hopefully they can get you feeling better. I can relate to the back pain, I live with it everyday and will for the rest of my life...
That looks sweet AF! I was going to guess flat bed.

Well def post pictures once you get them back!

ha, I won't flat bed until I SAS it.

Yea, I am pretty excited about it, will make Jambo pretty nice and will allow the lady and the baby to come and have somewhere to feed that has A/C and such if she wants.

Not to mention a nice awning to be under, easy access fridge, and some good speakers for music!

    And A/C at night!

Lol, yea, I can either do the wide bed with the two mattresses together, or if I am alone, I can just use the single mattress and then still have my bike or something in the trailer as I plan to store my MTN bike inside on trips to help prevent theft along with climbing gear, camp gear, and such.

As the kids get older, will get the RTT, so they can sleep in either the trailer or the RTT, and will have an annex on the RTT for changing.
