It's going to be obnoxious if I put all 8 on, haha. I only wanted two at the tailgate. I guess I can run two more at the cab, and two at the hood hinge?

I like the heat shrink connectors. After they get crimped, you heat em up and it's heat shrink. I generally like to solder connections, I'll crimp solder then heat shrink tubing the connection.

I would still use the bullet ones. I elaborated in the post you quoted because I don't like just using a crimp to connect wire to a terminal. But I'll bet it should be fine with just the bullets that have the heat shrink insulator on them. I used those type on my motorcycle for the headlight and other parts that I would maybe change.

To be safe, put the male bullet on the light fixture side of the wire, and the female bullet on the truck side of the wire. That's just in case you have the rack off the truck and accidentally hit the light switch on. You won't be throwing sparks.

so... customs is being a tard this year. went to pick up my box of parts today that I ordered from wheelers. had to pay 55$ in taxes and shit to get it. I hate being surprised like that when I go to pick up a package. ALSO!!! my headlights! soooo I get a call from FedEx. apparently Prolinetuning where I ordered the lights from, wrote down that I only paid 20$ for the lights, customs opened the box and saw the two lights and now they are holding them hostage lol I have to print out some form, fill it out, scan it and email it back to fedex so they can clear the package, and I'm sure I will have to pay more moneys too! the US to CND conversion is bad enough let alone getting hit with taxes and import fees coming across the border.

Two pop up canopies, a bunch of tarps and tape, a work light and a heater. Let’s do this!

@Redmann , is it possible to wire these perspective additional lights into the remote harness for my existing light bar and install them their own dedicated dash switch?

Make do with what you have!

I'm not sure what you're asking. But yeah anything is possible.

Also, do you see where the wing reinforcement is on those HC bumpers? That looks like it would be easier to install than to fenagle it around the leaf pack and shackle hanger like we were.
