    Have you always used that much weight or did you start w/less and it didnt work out?

    I figured around 300 pounds would do the trick + that was what I planned on buying for gardening in the spring. I keep the dirt in the bags. My brother in law is running about the same weight in his 93 Tacoma with sand. You could try with less weight. It made a difference. My truck does not squat with the weight and I don't notice anything different except it takes bumps a little better. The bags are placed over the rear wheels.
